Is Cardi B the new queen of rap?
She just might have a claim on that crown. According to Hits Daily Double, Cardi's debut album Invasion of Privacy is projected to move 170,000 to 200,000 SPS in its first week with 45 to 55K of those being traditional albums.
That's a little short of the 244K SPS rap's current [sales] queen Nicki Minaj's last album The Pinkprint did first week all the way back in 2014.
But we'll see what happens when Nicki releases her next album, which should be soon.
The other big rap release this week was Lil Xan's debut Total Xanarchy. It's projected to do 30 to 35K first week, which is less than what Teka$hi 69 and Rich The Kid recently debuted with and further proof dissing 2pac doesn't pay.
