Lil Baby's album It's Only Me has busted through its initial projections of 185K to 210K for a 212K first week.
That will land Baby at number one and is the biggest rap opening since Kendrick Lamar put up 295K first week with Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
Lil Baby's last album, My Turn, did 197K first week.
Baby's big bow ends what has been a brutal stretch for Hip Hop albums and what has sparked discussion about whether the genre's dominant run is coming to an end if it hasn't ended already.
