Future and Young Thug surprise dropped the joint project Super Slimey late Thursday night.
Will the gambit pay off?
According to Hits Daily Double, Super Slimey is expected to move 85 -110K first week. Of those, 20-30K will be pure sales.
Those are great numbers for Thugger. His last two commercial mixtapes, Jeffery and Beautiful Thugger Girls, debuted with 37K in their first weeks.
For Future, it's a bit of a letdown. His back-to-back 2017 number one albums Future and Hndrxx did 140K and 121k, respectively. What A Time To Be Alive, his 2015 joint project with Drake, debuted at number one with 375,000.
Super Slimey will not be number one. One Direction singer Niall Horan’s debut album Flicker is projected for 150-160k and P!nk's album Beautiful Trauma debuted this week with a massive 407K.
