Black Mafia Family boss Big Meech has been in the news a lot lately, thanks to 50 Cent's new BMF series on Starz and all the controversy that goes along with that.

Meech and his brother Southwest T were sentenced to 30 years in 2008 for running a large-scale drug empire. 

T got out last year because of COVID.  There was talk Meech would also get a compassionate release, but it never happened.
