French Montana's sophomore album was supposed to be MC4.
But he had to scrap it for what he claimed were sample clearance issues. That was contradicted by his label boss LA Reid, who said the album was canceled because of lack of hype.
The project was then revived as a mixtape late last year.
French tries again with the album Jungle Rules, which dropped yesterday.
Hits Daily Double projects the project will move 45-50k SPS first week, with 13-18K of those being true album sales.
That's similar to what his debut album Excuse My French did in 2013.
It won't be enough to unseat JAY-Z's 4:44 at the top of the chart, but should land French somewhere in the top three.
