Over the past year, DJ Khaled's become a social media super star.
Will his new found fame juice the sales of his ninth album Major Key?
The preliminary answer is yes.
Hits Daily Double is projecting Major Key, an Apple exclusive, will do 67-72K first week sales plus streaming. Of that 45K-50K will be pure album sales.
That's almost three times what his last album, 2015's I Changed A lot, did first week.
It's also in line with the last two big rap releases, Gucci Mane's Everybody Looking and ScHoolboy Q's The Blank Face LP.
But it probably won't be enough to top sales king Drake, as HHD is projecting VIEWS will hold on to number one on the album charts for a 13 non-consecutive week.
