Murphy was the older brother of Eddie Murphy and a successful comic in his own right.
He was most famous for co-staring on The Dave Chappelle Show, and he also co-wrote the Eddie Murphy films Norbit and Vampire In Brooklyn.
Murphy recently toured with Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, George Lopez and D.L. Hughley on The Comedy Get Down.
Let's pour one out for a guy who made us laugh, and remember some of his classic bits.
