The NBA has rejected TNT's offer to match Amazon's bid on NBA TV rights beginning in 25-26.
While this may all end up in court, for now, TNT won't be broadcasting pro basketball after this season.
That means no more Inside the NBA.
TNT mainstay Charles Barkley blasted the decision to replace TNT with Amazon and promised to go out on top.
"Clearly the NBA has wanted to break up with us from the beginning. I"m not sure TNT ever had a chance. TNB matched the money, but the league knows Amazon and these tech companies are the only ones willing to pay for the rights when they double in the future. The NBA didn't want to piss them off," Barkley typed. "It's a sad day when owners and commissioners choose money over the fans. It just sucks."
