According to Charlamagne, the industry has always hated Drake.
He believes it's because he's Canadian and winning.
And how does this hate manifest? CTG explained that when Diddy famously slapped Drake in Miami about a decade ago, his phone immediately started blowing up—and it wasn't from the usual suspects.
Charlamagne speaks on Diddy allegedly slapping Drake and says, "Behind the scenes, the industry has always actively rooted against Drake."

"Drake used to say in his raps that the industry is plotting against him, and he's not lying," CTG said. "Whenever stuff like this used to happen to him, my phone would go crazy. And it wouldn't be like regular people. It would be like execs and managers, like 'Yo, Diddy just slapped the sh*t out of Drake.' I'll never forget that night. So Drake's not paranoid when he says these things ... hate, jealousy, and envy is a real thing."
