Charlamagne Tha God said that nobody cared about Drake and SZA's new song "Slime You Out," Now it's the number one song on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
"Drake put out a song last Friday, and nobody cared," said Charlamagne on his Brilliant Idiots podcast. "It came out last Friday and people just started talking about the lyrics yesterday."
Drizzy later responded by calling the radio host an "off brand Morris Chestnut "and a "goof."
Charlamagne didn't return the diss but spoke about "Slime You Out" after it went number one.
"Well, it’s Drake and SZA. People’s curiosity is going to make them go stream the record and of course, radio is going to play the hell out of it," he said about the song.
Then CTG ran with the rumor that he and Drake faked their dispute to promote the cut.
"I told y'all yesterday that Drake and I plan these things every time he drops certain records," CTG claimed. "He wants me to hate on them because all noise is great noise nowadays. And I told y’all the play but nobody believes me 'cause I’m lying. But you should believe me even when I’m lying."
Do you think CTG and Drake have been working together?
