In 2016, Birdman notoriously walked out of a Breakfast Club interview right after demanding Charlamagne put "respek" on his name.
But now things are good between Baby and CTG.
Charlamagne explained how he squashed beef with the Cash Money boss.
“My being from the South, he’s an OG that I look up to as far as what he’s built, as far as being a mogul. You can’t deny him. You can't deny what Young Money Cash Money has done," CTG said at the BET Awards. “My man Big Bank from the Big Facts podcast put us on the phone one time and I was able to tell him that. It was just mutual respect. That was a fulfilling conversation for me.”
Here's what Baby said about the interview in 2020.
"Not at all," Birdman said when he asked about regrets. "It just was what it was and that's behind us. A n*gga grown and I believe in respect. I grew up on respect and I think disrespect, you deal with that sh*t accordingly. However you feel to deal with it and at that time I just wanted really to go and speak to that man and to let him know we believe in respect. Sometimes bloggers get out of they character and say sh*t about people that ain't got nothing to do with what's going on. I just felt the need to step to him, go there and see him and see what's happening. Just ask him to respect me."
