Earlier this year, LL Cool J challenged Charlamagne to a boxing match after the radio host criticized Cool James for a freestyle he did on Dr. Dre's Apple Radio show.
CTG Just addressed LL's challenge in an interview with Vlad TV.
"I'm not going to challenge you to a sparring match, but I will battle rap you," he said of Cool J. "Because I feel like I can rap better bars than LL at this present moment."Charlamagne went on to say that LL's recent music is so bad that it hinders him in the fight to school his listeners in how awful some of the new artists, like Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert, are.
"The new shit is trash. But it makes it hard for us to defend our legends when they are coming out with stuff that is terrible," CTG said.CTG explained he will use his rap alter ego Lil Young Shorty to go at LL, if need be.
