Chance The Rapper said he's dropping a new album this week but didn't give a lot of details.
"I'm excited for everybody to get that," he told the Chicago Tribune. "It's going to come out just in time for the Special Olympics."
The 2018 Special Olympics actually took place from July 1 to July 6, but Chano has a Special Olympics 50th Anniversary concert on July 21, so the album could be released then.
Last month, Chance said he had a seven-track Kanye West-produced album coming soon, but it's not clear if this is that album
Right now there's also no word if the Chicago spitter plans to give away this project, as he's done with his music in the past, but he's not against it.
"I’ve never been against selling music,” he explained. “Music has value. I put my music out there for free because I wanted people to see and notice it as a beacon for what I’m doing, in terms of how unorthodox I wanted my approach and my delivery of each piece of music to be."
