Chamillionaire hasn't dropped an album since 2007's Ultimate Victory.
There have been some EPs, and he was on a Trae tha Truth track not so long ago. But mostly he's been trying to live up to his name as a businessman and venture capitalist. Among his highlights are being an early investor in Lyft and having a studio he owned a chunk of getting sold to Disney.
But the Houston entrepreneur wants everyone to know he's still a rapper, despite what you may have heard.
“I am gonna put out music at some point. People say I’m retired all the time, they retired me before I even retired me. But I feel you have to live a little and come up with something you wanna say," he said in an interview with AP.
Listen to Chamillionaire speak on his music and business career, and how they are related.
