Last week, Casanova pleaded guilty to RICO and narcotics offenses in federal court.
He will get between 5 and 60 years when he is sentenced on December 6.
As part of his plea, the rapper and Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang member admitted to participating in a poker game shooting in Florida in 2020, a robbery in New York City in 2018, and to trafficking over 100 kilograms of weed.
As for why Casa decided to forgo trial ...
Multiple people snitched on him.
Assistant U.S. Attorney David Felton told Rolling Stone that one “cooperator” informed the authorities that Casanova had accidentally fired a gun at the poker game. Another told the Feds that they had seen Casa receive large shipments of weed.
The Feds also have recorded calls between Gorilla Stones in which they discussed how Casa always carried a gun, which they found reckless due to his successful rap career and New York City's brutal gun laws.
