Casanova explained why he settled his beef with Tekashi 6ix9ine.
"Even when I was going at it with 6ix9ine, everybody was cheering me on, and everybody was cheering him on," he said. "But what I didn't know was the same people who was cheering him on was cheering me on ... They wanted me to crash. It's like kill two birds with one stone. 'We don't like this colorful hair nigga. Fuck it, Cas, take this nigga outta here. He's doing too much. He's fucking up the culture '... [And they're] like 'Get Cas the fuck outta here. This nigga is too gangster, I don't want this nigga around me. Get this nigga outta here and make this nigga do this nigga.' And then I caught it, and I was like 'What the fuck am I mad at this nigga for?'"
Cas' interview comes one month after he was accused of assaulting a woman in a New York City diner, which he eventually turned himself in for. The police also investigated the Brooklyn rapper when shots rang out at 6ix9ine's "Get the Strap" video shoot.
