Carmelo Anthony played his first game with the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday night and talked about how it felt after being away from the NBA for a whole year.
Carmelo Anthony: "The greatest feeling of all was to feel wanted by a group of guys who believe in me and my talent and what I can bring to the game. It wasn’t just the players. It was the coaching staff. They really showed a strong level of belief in me and what I can still do."

Melo was among the starting five in last night's game, in which he scored 10 points and had four rebounds in a little over 20 minutes of play. The Blazers, who didn't have Damian Lillard, lost to the New Orleans Pelicans 115-104 in the end.
All in all, it was not a very good debut. Some would say it was awful.
Objectively horrendous #Blazers debut for Carmelo Anthony tonight:

Also worth noting that Carmelo Anthony displaced Nassir Little in the #Blazers starting lineup tonight:
— Jon Jacobson (@TommyPointJon) November 20, 2019
Melo: 4-14 FG (10 pts), 0 AST, 4 REB, 5 TO, 5 fouls, -20 plus/minus
Little: 5-6 FG (12 pts), 1 AST, 11 REB, 1 TO, 4 fouls, +9 plus/minus
Good luck Terry Stotts
Do you see Melo being a big help to the Blazers this season or not really?
