Carmelo Anthony will sign a non-guaranteed deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN.
He'll join the team this Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs, after not playing in an NBA game since the Rockets let him go early last season. Portland has been trying to recruit Melo for years now and first tried when he was a part of the New York Knicks. The news comes just a day after Melo guaranteed that he'd sign to a team this season.
After it was known the 35-year-old would be returning to the NBA, a lot of people in the league sent their congrats.
