Carmelo Anthony was asked about the rumor that he's joining the Brooklyn Nets and didn't deny it.
The talk began after Melo was seen working out with Nets players earlier this month. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving signed to the Brooklyn team in the offseason and the word is they want Anthony on the squad too.
"That's family," said Melo about Durant and Irving, "So that's bigger than basketball. If something happens, something's gonna happen. Everybody will know when something happens."
The former Knick also talked about all of the people who've been supporting him since he's been out of the league and how happy their support has made him. Melo hasn't played in the NBA since the 2018/2019 season after being traded by the Houston Rockets, having been traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the previous season.
"I appreciate all my fans. Everybody, it's nothing but love," Melo told the TMZ reporter. "I'm good. Me and my family good. That's all that matters. I'm 10 toes down. I feel better than I've ever felt."
Do you think he'll end up on the Nets?
