Cardi B Gives Details About Alleged NYPD Choking Incident; Won't Speak To Cops

Last week Cardi B said she was choked by a member of the New York City Police Department.

Then she went silent on the issue. She finally talked about the alleged incident in an interview with 99 Jamzy. According to the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper, everything happened after she got into a fender bender with another vehicle and then had a confrontation with the driver.

"I started hitting his window," she explained. "I did. I started hitting his window. Then I threw him a bottle of water. I did. I'm not gonna lie. I wasn't being an angel ... Then my cousin got out and they both squared up. So I took off my shoe, and I threw it at the nigga. And the nigga threw it at me back. But the nigga was ignoring me, and now he's going to square up with my cousin. Out of nowhere, a motherfucker [a cop] put me in a choke hold. Put me in a chokehold with my hand behind my back like my chicken wing, and I couldn't breathe. I couldn't believe it. There's two men, about to square up, but you're so much of a pussy you're going to put the female in the chokehold."

"I don't really wanna make a statement, 'cause I ain't never talked to no 12 before," she stated. "And even if I did talk, are they gonna do anything about it? Most likely not, so why would I waste my time."
