It may not seem like it, but this September 7th will mark two years since Cardi B tried to fight Nicki Minaj at a party during New York Fashion Week.
The two women have kept their beef going since then, but recently Cardi seemed to pay her arch nemesis a compliment.
The Bronx rhymer dropped her big comeback single "Wap" last night, featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The video features Kylie Jenner, which a lot of people said they aren't happy about.
Cardi seemed to talk about Nicki during a newly released interview with Beats 1.
“When I was younger…when I was 6, 7, 8, there was a lot of female rappers and then there was a time when there was no female rappers at all,” Cardi explained. “I had to keep replaying songs from the early 2000s. Like, I had to keep replaying it, replaying it, replaying it because for a while there wasn’t no female rappers. And then, there was one female rapper that dominated for a very long time and she did pretty good and still dominating.”
On another note, how are you feeling Cardi's new song and video?
