Cam'ron and Juju, his girl for the past decade, have split.
We first heard the rumblings of the break up a few weeks ago, and now it's official.
In a Breakfast Club interview, Cam said the break up happened "earlier this year" and was mutual.
He also fingered social media, a well-known tool of the devil, as part of why they ended it.
“It was kind of mutual. For me, it just wasn’t fun anymore,” Cam explained. "“Once Instagram came out, I’m the one who was promoting her and marketing her, showing her body and showing people how beautiful she is, like ‘Look, I got a beautiful woman,’ without being too untasteful about it to me ... When Instagram came out, basically it was fun in the beginning. But then it started being serious. [Juju would say] ‘Why you following her?’ Or, ‘You like that person picture,’ or ‘People are saying this.’ And I’m like, ‘Yo, you gotta be my best friend for because that’s what I’m in it for.’ … It just stopped being fun and I think she felt that way too.”
Cam, who was friends with the Love & Hip Hop star before they started dating, says he has no ill-will toward his ex.
"She's loyal, she's smart, she's funny, she's charismatic," he described. "She has a bunch of different businesses she's doing."
