Cam'ron Explains Why He'll Never Attend One Of JAY-Z's Roc Nation Brunches

by Daryl Nelson

Cam'ron has no interest in going to one of JAY-Z's Roc Nation brunches

He said so in a new episode of his Talk With Flee podcast, and it mainly has to do with the lack of women there.

Cam spoke about Gillie Da Kid's interview on Club Shay Shay as well.

In that sit down, Gillie said that he doesn't go to the brunches and similar events because people there act fake.

Cam didn't agree but said hanging out with a bunch of men who he's seen repeatedly isn't fun for him. [Jump to the 5:58 mark]

"I done records with JAY-Z. I was actually signed to JAY-Z’s company. I actually had a joint venture with JAY-Z and Def Jam. It’s not a big deal for me to be around JAY-Z or Juan," said the Dipset rapper.

He continued. "It’s not really a big deal for me to be around a bunch of men 'cause it be a little scatter of bitches at that sh*t and then it’s a bunch of men. Secondly, you got a bunch of people just hanging out taking pictures. Not to piggyback off of Gillie’s sh*t at all ... but end of the day, why am I going to see n*ggas I seen 100 times, and then it’s really nothing to talk about? Is it a great tool for new younger artists? Absolutely."

Cam then said that he never hung out with JAY-Z in the past and wouldn't use a Roc Nation brunch to start. So, there you have it.
