Yasiin Bey, aka Mos Def, started a huge debate by saying Drake is a pop artist and not a Hip Hop act.
It's fair to say there were an equal number of people who agreed and disagreed with the Black Star rapper, who later clarified his comments.
Cam'ron spoke on Drake during a new interview with GQ and didn't deny that he was a pop artist. In fact, he said Drizzy is the new Michael Jackson, who was known as "The King of Pop."
"When it's somebody of Drake's magnitude, you ought to show love," said the Dipset rapper. "A lot of people want to criticize and say he’s [too] commercial. He's the modern-day Michael Jackson that can also rap. You got to realize the type of run he's on."
Would you call Drake the modern-day M.J.?
