Cam'ron Breaks Down Ma$e Beef & 'Dinner Time' In New Interview

by Daryl Nelson

A few days ago, Ma$e called into Hot 97 and explained why he dissed Cam'ron on his song "The Oracle." Cam  followed that up by stopping by The Breakfast Club to give his take on the beef and talk about his response record "Dinner Time."

The difference between both songs, said Cam, is "The Oracle" is filled with lies and "Dinner Time" pulls from  actual truth.

"After he said I fucked my sister, I'm like 'I can't really [take the battle seriously],'" Cam explained.

The Dipset leader also denied that he has a Ma$e tattoo, which Ma$e claimed in the last line of "The Oracle."

Plus, Cam'ron said that he's never insulted his former friend on a song, he was just stating facts.

“I never dissed Ma$e,” he said. “I’m telling you stories about real life situations. I never made up ‘fucked my sister,’ the imaginary sister that I don’t have. I don’t have a sister. I don’t really do fiction when it comes to Ma$e."

The Killa Season creator also talked about Ma$e leaving rap to become involved with the church and said he did it just for the money. Which is something he also said on "Dinner Time."

"I don’t mess with Mase no more," he said. "'Cause me personally, I just go by a different standard than people. Once you start playing with God and taking people’s money and say rap is the devil then come back and rap ’cause you ain’t got no money, I just can’t pump with you. I’m not sayin’ I’m the most religious guy in the world, but I don’t play with you when you play with God. There was a time when he was like, ‘Yo, you know Deacons is gettin’ that money.’ I was like it’s over. I can’t really mess with you.”

Cam has now beefed with Ma$e, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Vado.  Why do you think Cam'ron ends up fighting with those he knows best? You can see his full interview below.
