Update: Bill's reps say Scarface's post is incorrect and Bill is still fighting.
Update 2: Bill's family has now confirmed He has passed away.
Geto Boys rapper Bushwick Bill has passed away at age 52.
His death isn't a surprise. Last month he announced that he had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, for which the five-year survival rate is three percent.
But he had still been planning one final tour, so now his many fans will be denied one last chance to see him.
His Geto Boys brother Scarface announced Bill's passing on Instagram.
Others have commented:
April 7. The last time I saw him. He was, is and will always be a legend. God bless his soul and his family. There will never be another. RIP Bushwick Bill. Geto Boys. https://t.co/KUfgxHSAQa
