Bun B's Lawyer Speaks On Whether His Client Will Be Charged For Shooting Intruder

by HHL JT

A masked intruder showed up at Bun B's Houston home earlier this week and held Bun's wife at gunpoint, before trying to make off with the family Audi.

Bun B ended up shooting  20-year-old DeMonte Jackson in the arm during an altercation in the front yard.

Jackson fled to the hospital, where he was treated and charged with three felonies.

As for Bun B ... his lawyer doesn't expect him to face any charges for opening fire.

"No charges have been leveled [against Bun B] and I don't expect any," Charles Adams told XXL. "I talked to the Houston Police Department last night they were treating him like a victim because he's a victim."

"In Texas, you can defend your home," Adams, who said Bun used a liscened firearm, continued. "And if an armed home invader breaks into your home and puts a gun at your wife's head, you can shoot the guy if he's still in your home. Honestly, this might sound cheesy, thank God that Bun had a gun. Thank God that he was courageous enough to defend his home and his wife [Queenie]. And thank God Queenie was courageous enough to not let the man go upstairs."
