Many consider Jay-Z's 4:44 album a masterpiece. Not only for the lyrical wit he delivers and producer No I.D.'s head-nodding beats, but for the lessons he drops.
Clearly, the album wasn't made for kids or teeny boppers, it was made for adults and those about to enter into adulthood. That's because Jay covers topics like marriage, family and Black people building generational wealth.
One person who got a lot out of the album is Bow Wow, who posted a message about it on Instagram Stories.
“We gotta start teaching the youth early about credit and how important it is,” wrote Bow. “It’s cool to have cash, but with good credit …. man the world is yours! Nothing like looking at all 3 scores and you a 730 or better!!!! Learn the importance of having good credit! Trust me!!! Can’t lie JAY-Z 4:44 album got me on my sh*t and I ain’t never looked back.”
Did you get any lessons from 4:44 like Bow Wow did?
