Last month, Lil Duval took to Instagram and wondered why the rap game came out in droves to the premiere of 50 Cent's BMF series whereas there were few industry people at Boosie Badazz's Atlanta premiere of his biopic "My Struggle."
"Every celeb you can think of was at BMF premiere. But at @hesbackagain2021 premiere I only saw @qcmceo_p @troublemmb and @iamdesibanks all I’m saying is we gotta support the streets the same way we support the mainstream stuff. Especially in the south. Cuz they really don’t fuck wit us they just deal wit us. #staywoke," the comedian typed.
Boosie was asked about Duval's words during his lastest Vlad TV interview.
"Nobody came out to support the way they should. It's not just Atlanta," Boosie said. "People think I was going against 50, f*ck no. That's why I did it a day earlier. You think I'm gonna go up against 50? I'm a marketing genius I went a day before 50, I reached out to a lot of people. It didn't disturb me at all really, because I felt so much love. The love was crazy. But Duval's Tweet had opened my eyes."
Despite the love, Boosie has been in a sour mood, lashing out at sites that have been pirating "My Struggle" and Instagram for not letting him do promo.
