Boosie Badazz had to undergo surgery after being shot in Dallas in November of 2020. He was also confined to a wheelchair but still continued to perform.

The Baton Rouge rapper talked about those first performances after being shot and said it was incredibly painful. Plus, Boosie said that he was offered one hundred thousand dollars for two shows, and he just couldn't turn the money down, regardless of how injured he was.

"My first two shows I was hurting," he said on VLadTV. "Went back to the bus, damn near had tears in my eyes. I was hurting. Taking all these pain pills, I was f*cked up. But I smiled when that muthafuckin' back-end came. I was hurting. I got back on the tour bus, my leg up. It ain't nothing but an hour and forty-five minutes of pain."

Any reaction to Boosie's interview?
