When Lia Thomas began her college swimming at the University of Pennsylvania career she was a man and ranked 462.
Now Lia is a woman and is seeded number one in three of her events at the Ivy League championship this week.
Not everyone on her team is onboard with her transition and new dominance. Sixteen of the swimmers on her own squad told the Washington Post they didn't think she should be swimming as a woman but felt bullied by the administration into accepting her as a teammate.
Boosie Badazz, who often comments on LBGT issues, is with those swimmers.
