Last week, Boosie Badazz had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor.
He lost half of one of kidneys in the procedure, which is called a nephrectomy. The good news is the doctors believe they got all of the cancer. The not as good news is that Boosie didn't have health insurance, so the surgery cost him $90,000 -- and that doesn't include rehab.
Boosie will have to stay at a cancer center for about three more weeks as he recovers.
Hopefully after that the 33-year old can go back to doing his thing.
