Bobby Shmurda's Trial Gets Postponed Again

Bobby Shmurda was supposed to finally start his trial this Wednesday.

That's not going happen, as it's been delayed again. He will now face drugs, guns and conspiracy to commit murder charges beginning on September 12th.

This delay comes at the request of Shmurda's lawyers. Rowdy Rebel's trial is also being pushed back to Sept. 12th.

Last month, two of Shmurda's GS9 associates where convicted of murder, and perhaps that's why Bobby's lawyers want more time for his case.

Last week, the body of another Shmurda associate washed up on a Brooklyn beach. But there's no indication that has anything to do with the charges against Shmurda.

If Shmurda does go to trial on September 12th, it will be almost two years since he was arrested and jailed without bail.

Since it seems to be his legal team that's been pushing things back, it's hard to conclude that his right to a speedy trial is being impeded.
