Earlier this month, Bobby Shmurda defended his “Hoochie Daddy” single, which isn't a traditional rap song and has dance music elements.
He talked to Ebro Darden about his new music as well, while sticking up for men who wear Hoochie Daddy shorts.
The shorts have become quite popular in 2022, but some say the fellas shouldn't be wearing them due how short and tight they are. Bobby, however, said those people are just insecure.
“The people who are saying [things] about the shorts and stuff, I feel like they got insecurities or some sh*t, they might even be insecure about some sh*t," said Bobby, according to AllHipHop. “Because I don’t know how you don’t want to wear no shorts for no girls ... You want a whole bunch of durags and flags for n*ggas outside, for guys, for dudes. But if a girl wants you to dress sexy, dress sexy for the girls. Ladies’ man, that’s some ladies’ man sh*t. You don’t want no girls?”
