They are certainly some parallels between Bobby Shmurda and Teka$hi 69.
They are both young New Yorkers who burst on the scene with an aggressive, catchy sound. They are also both gang-associated -- which is why Shmurda currently lives in the penitentiary.
In a recent call from prison, Bobby commented on 69. He's not impressed.
"I don't know that nigga," Bobby said about 69. " [He is] on some fruity shit."
Shmurda is a couple of years into a seven year sentence for murder conspiracy.
