Earlier this month, LA Reid explained Epic records just wasn't in a position to post Bobby Shmurda's $2 million bail. Shmurda hoped on the phone with Ebro in the Morning today and clarified that a bit. Apparently, the judge is demanding all $2 million. Not the ten percent or so that is usually allowed to be put up.
"They want 100 percent. They don't want 10 percent, they don't 25 percent, they don't want 40 percent, they don't want 50,' Shmurda told Ebro, adding that he currently has the cash to post ten percent. As for Epic:
"I ain't been in contact with them in a long time," Bobby said.At that point Shmurda's mom jumped in. She said she has talked to her son's label (but not LA Reid) and that they also told her that they simply don't have the ability to approve two million for Shmurda's bail.
