When Bobby Shmurda was in fifth grade he was selling crack.
Or so it goes.
But he doesn't want other fifth graders to make the same mistake.
So he's done with rap and all of its criminal-minded negativity.
“These kids are following you guys, and you’re rapping about these f*cking lifestyles," Bobby told The Danza Project. It’s very dangerous to the communities cuz these little kids think that going on, and you did not even live it. Rap is supposed to be telling mutherf*ckers to go from negative to positive, coming from poverty to go to riches… I wanna hear about living life."
Since Shmurda hasn't been hearing that from today's rappers, he stopped listening to the genre. He says the only time he ever hears rap these days is when he's in the club and can't avoid it.
