Birdman Says Lil Wayne Is Holding 'Tha Carter V' Hostage

After getting slammed again by Lil Wayne yesterday, Birdman leaked some information about Weezy's long awaited Tha Carter V album.

His sources told TMZ that the album is complete, but that Wayne has the masters and is refusing to give them to Birdman. Wayne had been implying that Baby was the one holding up the album.

It is believed Wayne is using the album as leverage in his lawsuit against Cash Money, and won't release it until he gets his $8 million advance, the $2 million due at compilation, and a couple million more for his trouble.

As for leaking the album ... there's little chance of that when Wayne sees it as opportunity to get some real money.

So it looks like we won't be getting Carter V for a while.
