Birdman Reveals How Much He Makes A Year From Masters

Birdman has a long history of cutthroat business tactics, which often result in him getting paid at the expense of everyone else.

It's a tactic that's served Baby well.

In an interview with Wallo, he explained how much he makes a year because he owns the Cash Money masters.

“Our sh*t has value," he said, explaining he's recently started to license out Cash Money's music. “It’s a gang of ways you can make money with your masters. We generate 20 to 30 million a year just off our masters."

Birdman also said he keeps grinding as an independent label to make up for what the labels did to artists in the past. 

Although some would say Baby is even worse than the old labels when it comes to keeping his artists in the money.
