Birdman Claims Drake Grew Up In The Slums

Drake's been on Cash Money records for almost a decade.

So you'd think Birdman would know his prized artist's bio. 

But ... no.

Here's what Baby said about Drake during a recent interview with RapUp.

“He comes from the trap, from the slums. He ain't never had a sweet life,” Birdman claimed. “Now he makin’ a helluva life for himself. So for him, I have to say, he's on a high horse to be living life like this because, every day of his life, is an experience of life that he never experienced.” 

Drake famously grew up in a middle -class neighborhood in Toronto, not the slums or the trap. Although his character Jimmy was a victim of gun violence on Degrassi High, the Canadian television show a teenage Aubrey Graham was paid for starring in. 

Perhaps Birdman isn't this confused and is just trying to pump Playboy up with some street cred in a bid to keep him on Cash Money now that his contract is finally up.
