Billy McFarland Says 50 Cent Can Help Him With Fyre Fest 2 In A Way Ja Rule Couldn't

by Daryl Nelson

Fraudster and ex-con Billy McFarland is holding another Fyre Fest.

The first was in 2017, and it turned out to be a complete scam which landed McFarland in prison

Ja Rule partnered with McFarland for the first festival but avoided much of the blame

But for the next Fyre Fest, which is supposed to be in April 2025, McFarland wants to recruit Ja's arch-enemy 50 Cent.

"Next week’s problem is booking the talent," McFarland told TMZ. "We really wanna make sure it’s across all genres, so some electronic, some hip-hop, some rap, and of course the pop and the rock. We’re working through it now ... I’m actually gonna try to call 50 Cent later today and come and see if he’ll headline Sunday night … We gotta give 50 Cent the spot so he can do what Ja Rule never could."

But just like Ja is now doing, 50 will probably stay clear of McFarland because the feds are probably watching every move he makes.

In 2018, McFarland was sentenced to six years for wire and bank fraud.
