2014 was a tough year for the entire music industry. But Hip Hop suffered even more than the other big genres.
The Forbes annual 30 Under 30 edition just took a crack at identifying the young music industry figures they think will help turn things around.
Of the 30 in the mag's music category, nine are associated with Hip Hop: Big Sean, Iggy Azalea, Hit-Boy, Mike WiLL Made It, Jhene Aiko, A$AP Rocky, DJ Mustard, Azealia Banks and Chance The Rapper, who at 21 is the youngest.
What emcees and producers under 30-years old would you add (or subtract) from Forbes's list?
You can check out the entire list here.
