Earlier this week, Thurz said he had seen Andre 3000 in the studio with Dr. Dre and revealed that Three Stacks has an album coming.
However, Andre's Outkast partner Big Boi and Organized Noise producer Sleepy Brown shut that down on the Ryan Cameron Uncensored Speak show.
"He was probably playing some music, but he's not working on a record," said Big Boi.
"He's been recording songs for years. Kinda recording, kinda just stacking up, but structured record? Not yet," Sleep Brown added. "The story is that he was in the studio with [Dr. Dre's protege] Anderson .Paak when Anderson .Paak was working on his thing and he played him some songs to see if he wanted to work on one of them. I guess that guy was in there [and] heard the songs."
Big Boi then said he communicated with Andre about the possibility of a new album and he denied it.
"He personally hit us and said, 'Look man, if I was going to do this, y'all be the first to know,'" he explained.
Are you disappointed there's no new Andre 3000 album?
