Now that Diddy is getting his comeuppance, some folks, like 50 Cent, think JAY-Z is next on the chopping block.
We don't know about that.
But we do know he is facing a new lawsuit for stealing.
Da Showstoppaz are suing Hov and his wife Beyonce for unlawfully using their 2002 track “Release A Wiggle” on Bey's Renaissance hit "Break My Soul."
The theft actually stems from the Big Freedia track "Explode," which is sampled on "Break My Soul."
According to Da Showstoppaz, Freedia used their “unique phrases, melody, and musical arrangement” without permission or payment. The theft was then transferred to Jay and Bey when they sampled Freedia.
Jay is listed as a writer on "Break My Soul," which is presumably why he is included in the lawsuit.
