BeatKing died yesterday.
He fell ill and passed out right before doing an Urban One/Radio One station show in his hometown of Houston and was rushed to the hospital.
According to his rep, he suffered a pulmonary embolism and passed away in the hospital with his two daughters by his side.
The 39-year-old rapper and producer had long been a staple on the Houston scene.
He went international with the 2020 TikTok hit "Then Leave."
