A good chunk of the Hip Hop world were in Austin for SXSW this weekend.
Not Meek Mill, who was doing his thing in his hometown of Philly with his Puma-sponsored 'Welcome Back' concert. The show featured French Montana, Rick Ross, Yo Gotti, DJ Khaled, Lil Durk, Fabolous, Jeezy and Allen Iverson. But the highlight was probably surprise guest Beanie Sigel, who was shot in December and then spent a month in the hospital.
"They done and sent my nigga to prison. They done shot my nigga. But he’s still back holding it down for Philly," Mill told the sold out Wells Fargo Center crowd. "Real niggas don't die, we get chubby and move to Miami. Then we come back to the hood to represent."In his first performance since taking a bullet again, Sigel did his hit 'Do It Again (Put Ya Hands Up)' before reuniting with Young Chris and Neef Buck to do the State Property cuts 'Can’t Stop Won’t Stop' and 'No Better Love.'
