Up-and-coming rapper BankRoll Gambino, 21, was killed and five other men were injured during a driveby Sunday night in Southwest Philadelphia.
Gambino (Ezra Weah) was preparing to shoot a promotional video for his Instagram page when the incident occurred.
Gambino was shot in the head and died at the scene. One of the five injured men is in critical condition and the other four are in stable condition.
"I went upstairs in my room and then all of a sudden you hear all these shots," Sabrie Comer told NBC10. "I came outside, you see two guys laying on top of each other. One guy on the step. One guy right across the street from me laying across the car shot up. It was just a mess."
Police believe the same gunmen had shot at Bankroll's car early Sunday morning and are on the lookout for the shooters.
RIP.
