In 2012, B.G. got smacked with a 14-year sentence for weapons possession and witness tampering.
Since then B.G.'s son T.Y. has become a rapper in his own right, dropping a bunch of tracks and mixtapes as part of Curren$y’s Jet Life crew.
In a new interview, T.Y. tells DJ Smallz Eyes 2 that his pops is coming home soon.
“His time’s short. He’s coming home, like within probably this year,” T.Y. said. “If not this year, next year for sure, but we shooting for this year, you feel me? Cause he been telling me all kind of good shit.”DJ Smallz Eyes had heard from B.G.'s former Hot Boys bro Turk that B.G. was doing some tough time, and T.Y. confirmed it.
“We was communicating a lot in the beginning of the year, but he was switching jails a lot,” T.Y. said. “And they was fucking over him and shit cause of who he was. So, they was taking a lot of his privileges away. Had him on lock down a lot. Just doing little dumb shit."Nevertheless, T.Y. says his dad is upbeat and focused on the future.
"He's ready to get to it," T.Y. said of B.G.'s mental state.
