Arrest Warrant For Deadly Car Crash Issued For Potential Number One Pick Jalen Carter

by HHL JT

University of Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter and potential number one pick Jalen Carter has a warrant out for his arrest for an incident that killed a UGA teammate and staffer.

Police say Carter was drag racing with Chandler LeCroy, a UGA recruiting analyst, when LeCroy lost control of his vehicle.  LeCroy and UGA OL Devin Wilcock died in the crash.

The race took place on January 15, less than a week after UGA won the national championship over TCU.

Carter's warrant is for "reckless driving and racing."

LeCroy was legally drunk and the time of the crash, which investigators have determined was a result of alcohol impairment, speed, racing, and reckless driving.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Georgia DT and potential No. 1 pick Jalen Carter for Reckless Driving and Racing. Stems from the January 15th crash that took the life of a teammate and staffer.
