There is much evidence that Drake and Kendrick Lamar will each release an album within the next several months.
In fact, the word is their projects are mostly done.
So what would happen if they drop on the same day?
There hasn't been a rap sales showdown like that since 50 Cent vs. Kanye in 2007.
In that case, the more conscious rapper [Kanye] won the opening week battle.
But Drake has traditionally had bigger opening weeks and is back to getting more regular streams than Kendrick, who had briefly surpassed him on the back of his W in their beef.
